Learn to Play Jazz Bass With Tim Ferguson
Tim Ferguson is a well known jazz bassist residing in New York City. His performance credits range from Broadway to television to motion picture, as well as performing throughout the U.S. and Europe with many well known jazz artists including Don Friedman, George Cables, Cecil Bridgewater, Vanessa Rubin, Tony Scott and others. Ferguson and WorkshopLive teacher Tom Dempsey just released a CD together, "What's Going On," in 2007, to much critical acclaim. In addition to his impressive performance résumé, Ferguson holds many producer credits. In the education world, he has taught at New York University, The State University of New York at New Paltz, and Western Michigan University, and co-authored The Total Jazz Bassist with WorkshopLive teacher Dave Overthrow, available through Alfred publishing.
